‘He never said he wanted Juventus, that’s not what he thinks’: Mauro Icardi’s wife denies Inter Milan striker wants to join Italian giants

Mauro Icardi’s wife has denied that the striker wants to leave Inter Milan for Juventus this summer.
Italian publication Gazzetta dello Sport reported only last week that he had already agreed personal terms with the Italian giants.
But Wanda Nara, Icardi’s agent as well as wife, has issued a rebuttal by claiming the striker has never said he wants to join Juventus.

‘Icardi never said he wanted Juve, that’s not what he thinks,’ she recently told Tiki Taka.
‘No-one’s heard Mauro talk since he had the captaincy taken away from him.’
Icardi and Inter’s Champions League hopes were dealt a blow on the weekend after they were heavily defeated 4-1 at Napoli.
Wanda insists that the Inter Milan striker ‘never said he wanted Juve’ move this summer
Inter currently sit fourth in Serie A, in the final Champions League spot, with one match remaining and Wanda is confident they will qualify for Europe.
She added: ‘I was sure it would’ve been decided by now. We’re used to suffering, but we’ll qualify for the Champions League. We deserve it.’
Inter will secure a place among Europe’s elite if they beat Empoli in their final game of the season on Sunday.
