Liverpool thrashed Tranmere on Thursday night as Jurgen Klopp’s side began their busy pre-season schedule in style.
Nathaniel Clyne got the ball rolling with a fierce strike on six minutes, before Rhian Brewster bagged a brace to leave the Reds 3-0 up at half time.
Curtis Jones, Divock Origi and Bobby Duncan, who is Steven Gerrard’s cousin, added goals after the interval.
