The WWE Hall of Famer and Undertaker had an error-filled match at the King Abdullah International Stadium in Jeddah that saw both legends almost getting seriously hurt.
Goldberg was busted open after his head collided with the ring post and he then botched his Jackhammer finisher as he dropped Taker on the back of his neck.
The Deadman then attempted a Tombstone Piledriver but the move went wrong as the WCW legend’s head landed hard on the canvas.
Goldberg then tried a Tombstone of his own but he failed to hold on to The Phenom and so both super heavyweights went crashing down to the mat.
Knocked myself out and thought I could finish…. love my fans…..but let u down
Undertaker picked up the victory with a Chokeslam but he barely managed to lift his opponent in the air.
Immediately after the match the referee and a member of the medical team checked on Goldberg’s condition while the fight’s victor looked frustrated with the quality of the bout.
And now new shocking footage emerged showing the three-time world champion collapsing to the floor.
The former Universal Champion admitted that he was knocked out and apologised to the fans for disappointing them.
Goldberg tweeted: “Knocked myself out and thought I could finish…. love my fans…..but let u down.
“Everyone else that found “pleasure” ….. hope ur happy.”
After the match a number of fans took to Twitter and urged WWE to never book that match again.
Various members of the WWE Universe also insisted that both legends should retire after this performance.
Goldberg seemed to have called time on his career after being inducted into the Hall of Fame last year.
Undertaker still wrestles on a part-time basis despite his advanced age of 54 and the long list of injuries he has suffered throughout his near three-decade-long career in wrestling.
