'Warnie created a monster': Star mocked
"Warnie's created a monster," was Adam Gilchrist's response when he saw the cap but a second hat – a floppy brim – was spotted around the team and the commentators had to get to the bottom of it.
"It was a sad night for both hats – it's worst on ground and best on ground," Renegades keeper Sam Harper said. "Both poorly presented to the wrong players tonight. Me and the other commissioners will have to have a meeting tomorrow and get some respect back into the hat."
Not sure which is which but whichever one is the worst on ground, maybe they should get a few more after the Renegades tallied the two biggest ever BBL losses in the first five games of the season and need a few wins to get back in finals contention.
The Thunder, who thrashed the Renegades by 129 runs on Boxing Day, won the toss and will bowl first.
