It almost fell through at the final hurdle over a coin toss, but Derek Chisora and Joseph Parker will meet in the ring in a heavyweight battle tonight, with the stakes high for both men.

Chisora, 37, is looking to bounce back from his defeat to Oleksandr Usyk last time out and keep his Indian summer going, having propelled up the rankings with the support of former rival David Haye.

DelBoy will be under no illusions with the task at hand in Manchester, though, with Parker eager for another tilt at the heavyweight title having lost his WBO belt to Anthony Joshua in 2018.

The New Zealander has only two losses on his professional record – to AJ and Dillian Whyte – and will look to make it five wins on the trot after he is done with the bulldozing Chisora this evening.

Going to use my boxing brain, going to move, going to fight fire with fire. I am excited for this fight.

All the hard work has been done and I want to show what I can do. Am I walking out second? Yes we are.

That is because Katie Taylor is a genuine superstar, and she takes on Natasha Jonas in a highly-anticipated bout worthy of topping a PPV card.
