Fans rage at PPV price for "embarrassing" Floyd Mayweather vs Logan Paul fight

Floyd Mayweather and Logan Paul's exhibition bout will cost UK viewers a staggering £16.95 to watch – leaving fans disgusted on social media.

Mayweather, one of the greatest fighters of all time, is set to climb back through the ropes for an exhibition with the YouTube star on June 6.

Paul has only boxed professionally on one occasion heading into his clash with the 50-0 legend, which ended in defeat against fellow YouTuber KSI.

Yet despite being a novice in the game, British viewers will have to fork out £16.95 to watch him lock horns with Mayweather live on Sky Sports.

Fans cannot believe the exhibition is a pay-per-view event in the UK, taking to Twitter to express their dismay.

One wrote: "It's an embarrassing event."

Another put: "They should pay us to watch it".

A third commented: "If that gets more than one hundred thousand buys boxing is truly dead".

Another said: "I hope no one orders this sham of a fight and they realise that boxing fans aren't here to be milked out of every penny".

While one quipped: "That’s £17 saved".

Paul will enter his showdown with Mayweather an overwhelming underdog having only enjoyed six professional rounds since venturing into boxing.

He is up against a former five-weight world champion who stakes a claim to being one of the most talented fighters in boxing history.

Nevertheless, that doesn't faze Paul one bit, with the online sensation recently saying: “I think I’m going to go in there and decapitate him in the first round.

“If it doesn’t happen, we’ll go for the second and then the third, and the fourth.
