Floyd Mayweather's exhibition bout with Logan Paul could be decided by a VOTE, according to one bookmaker.
There will be no judges at ringside in Miami tonight when YouTube star Paul takes on ring legend Mayweather over eight rounds.
And so if the fight unexpectedly goes the 24-minute distance, there will be no official scorecards with which to declare a winner.
That left fans believing the only way a winner could be determined is by a knockout, which is allowed.
But MyBookie, a bitcoin bookmaker claims a winner could be decided by a vote – although it does not explain who would participate in such an event.
Mayweather is favoured to win by stoppage but alongside the odds on the fight going the distance is a disclaimer which reads: "If no KO or TKO, winner will be decided via vote.
"If the broadcast declares a winner via voting, If the broadcast declares a winner via voting, this result will be used for settlement purposes.
"If no vote is held, and there was no KO or TKO, if no vote is held, and there was no KO or TKO, all wagers related to fight outcome are void."
Both Mayweather and Paul have backed themselves to knock out their unlikely dance partner at the Hard Rock Stadium.
And that outcome was made all the more likely when the rivals agreed to wear 10oz gloves.
The rules originally stated that 12oz mitts would be used but the fighters successfully lobbied the Florida Commission.
Indeed, Mayweather wanted to go further, saying this week: "First they were talking about 16oz gloves, then they talked about 14oz gloves, then it was 12oz gloves, now, as of today, we’re fighting in 10-ounce gloves.
"We’re getting closer and closer to what I want. What I really want is 8oz gloves, so we can entertain the people. Even though it’s an exhibition, they want to see blood."
Paul, meanwhile, has fought just once as a 'professional', losing to social media rival KSI in 2019.
But he is convinced his height and weight advantage will be enough to defeat one of the greatest of all time.
“For those people telling me that it’s impossible… you’d be lying if you said there wasn’t a chance that I could beat him," he said.
"Yeah, I think I’m going to go in there and decapitate him in the first round, and if it doesn’t happen, we’re going for the second, and then the third and the fourth.
"Who knows it could go the distance, but it’s going to be a f***ing show regardless.
"Anything can happen. Mentally, I prepare for the best and I prepare for the worst."
