Mike Tyson has revealed he thought he had killed Mitch Green during their infamous street fight in 1988, before fleeing the scene in his Rolls Royce.
The former undisputed heavyweight champion went toe-to-toe with Green in the boxing ring two years before their controversial brawl, securing a unanimous points victory over his bitter rival at Madison Square Garden.
However, their feud took an ugly turn when they clashed in an early-morning street fight a couple of years later, which saw Green recover like “f****** Michael Myers s***” after being knocked out by Tyson.
“He [Green] started talking and saying, 'What the f*** you doing in my hood, n*****?' Then it was on from there,” the boxing legend said on his Hotboxin’ With Mike Tyson podcast.
“Right in the street [we fought]. Real quick.
“He was just talking a lot and I really thought he was grabbing for my pockets, so I pulled my pockets out because if he ripped my pants all the money would fall and I wouldn't have a chance to get my money so I'd have to fight this cat right and then my money is to the wolves.
“So, anyway, that's just when I started punching him.
“I dropped him a couple of times, but he was high on angel dust [PCP] so he kept getting back up!

Yet their street fight was not finished there, as Tyson feared he had killed Green when his arch-nemesis came back for more.
“Then I'm in the car. He rushes to my car in my Rolls-Royce, he breaks the side mirror off,” he continued.
“I got out of the car. I went out of the car and I said, 'Excuse me one minute.'

“And that's when he was out [knocked out cold].
“I got scared because he didn't move anymore when his head hit the concrete and that's when I just ran and got in the car and thought, 'Let's get the f*** out of here.'
