Money Kicks vs Floyd Mayweather fight in ‘last stages’ with lawyers and date set

A date has been set for Floyd Mayweather's fight against Money Kicks and the YouTube star claims an announcement will be made in "a couple of days".

The Middle East-based vlogger says a deal is in the final stages of negotiations and will be completed once both men's lawyers have had a chance to review all the details of the contract.

The exhibition bout is set to take place on February 20 on a 700ft-high helipad atop the Burj Al Arab Jumeirah hotel in Dubai, where a special arena will be constructed.

Speaking to The Sun, Money Kicks, whose real name is Rashed Belhasa, said: "It's in the last stage. It's with the lawyers.

"We'll get a deal, I think it's going to happen. The date is set, it's in the last stage.

"Maybe in a couple of days there will be a big announcement."

Mayweather officially retired in 2017 after beating UFC star Conor McGregor in a lucrative cross-over bout.
