Check out their best and value bets:

BRAD WATERS (Racenet) Form: 255×6

BUCKHURST (Race 4, No.1 — $4)

Classy galloper that has terrific overseas form over 2000m. He was solid in the Caulfield Cup at his Australian debut and should be too classy for his rivals.

Value bet: PRINCE ZIGGY (Race 7, No.4 — $21)

GLENN McFARLANE (Herald Sun) Form: 34133

I’M THUNDERSTRUCK (Race 5, No.1 — $1.95)

Has all the hallmarks of a Group horse and if he gets around the Valley without issue, he should be winning.

Value bet: FROST FLOWERS (Race 2, No.2 — $4.40)

SIMON MOY (NewsRacing) Form: 3×574

I’M THUNDERSTRUCK (Race 5, No.1 — $1.95)

Continues to do everything right and gets a great opportunity repeat here again.

Value bet: WHITE HIBISCUS (Race 6, No.10 — $5)

NICK QUINN (TAB) Form: 3×273

NO EFFORT (Race 3, No.3 — $4)

Former star jumps jockey turned trainer Gavin Bedggood has done a tremendous job placing No Effort and she looks well placed to win again. Drawn nicely and in well at the weights for Carleen Hefel.

Value bet: WHY CHOOSE HER (Race 6, No.2 — $9)

JETT HATTON (Racenet) Form: 1514x

JIGSAW (Race 1, No.1 — $1.85)

His form is second to none, beating with likes of Artorius on debut before finishing behind General Beau and Anamoe in the Blue Diamond Prelude. He resumed with a strong win at Caulfield and he’s been given five weeks since to be sharp for this 1000m contest. Should be winning.

Value bet: JOVIALITY (Randwick, Race 1, No.3 — $10)

RAY THOMAS (Daily Telegraph) Form: 1562x

BADOOSH (Race 4, No.3 — $4.80)

Badoosh ran into a couple of dead ends and had to change course before motoring home to finish third behind La Chevalee over 1800m here on a heavy track two weeks ago. His form has steadily improved with each run this campaign and he is more effective on a firmer track which he gets on Saturday. Hugh Bowman rides and drawn to get the run of the race. Ready to win.

Value bet: MONEGAL (Race 6, No.5 — $11)

MATT JONES (Daily Telegraph) Form: 5x1x1

SAVVY LEGEND (Race 4, No.9 — $6.50)

He had no luck two runs back and just ran into an in-form stayer in the rise last time out. This is a race where he can get back into the winners’ circle.

Value bet: Lisdoonvarna (Race 5, No.11 — $9.50)

SHAYNE O’CASS (Daily Telegraph) Form: 2932x

CALIFORNIA LONGBOW (Race 6, No.9 — $26)

Resumes over 1500m which gives him his chance not to be run off his legs basically but more importantly, the Peter and Paul Snowden trained galloper will race on a ‘firm track’, anything else would be a deal-breaker.

Value bet: ROCK MY WAND (Race 5, No.10 — $6.50)

CHRIS VERNUCCIO (Racing News Editor) Form: 35128

LA CHEVALEE (Race 3, No.2 — $4.80)

Strong – and deserved – winner last start at the track and distance. Gets an ideal barrier and a fast tempo again and just needs to reproduce on a drier track to be saluting again.

Value bet: BADOOSH (Race 4, No.3 — $4.80)

CLINTON PAYNE (Racenet) Form: x2538

BADOOSH (Race 4, No.3 — $4.80)

He’s ready to win having his second run over this trip in the preparation. Hugh Bowman replaces the apprentice and he’ll relish the improving track.

Value bet: NIGHT OF POWER (Race 10, No.6 — $6.50)

TRENTON AKERS (Courier Mail) Form: 4318x

CHAMPAGNE AUNTY (Race 1, No.13 — $2.25)

Was well supported in betting two weeks ago and looked the winner at the top of the straight. She was first up on that occasion and should be better for the run. Has drawn sweetly here.

Value bet: SAFEWORK (Race 5, No.2 — $10)

Eloquently has won her past five starts. Picture: Trackside PhotographySource:Supplied

NATHAN EXELBY (Sky Racing) Form: 1918x

ELOQUENTLY (Race 9, No.1 — $3)

Just one of a number of in-form horses from the Steve Tregea stable. She graduated to metro grade with a strong win at Caloundra and backed it up last week when she went by smart filly Miami Fleiss. Even though the runner-up had a torrid run there, Eloquently’s run in isolation was still very good and I think she’s up to carrying the 59kg here.

Value bet: SAFEWORK (Race 5, No.2 — $10)
