The Upper Hunter got first look at his explosive potential, now the home base of Tamworth gets its turn at Monday’s feature meeting.
Promising three-year-old sprinter Who Goes There lines up for his first home-track start in a benchmark 58 handicap over 1000m to close the card.

It’s been four weeks since this exciting son of group 1 winner Exosphere announced himself to the racing world at Scone in a blistering maiden win over 900m.
Jumping to the front from a wider gate, Who Goes There dropped his rivals before the turn, sailing away to win with plenty in hand by more than three lengths.
Clock-watchers were left licking their lips. The debutant had run just over 50 seconds flat for the short course, and an even more explosive 32.33s for his last 600m.
His time was only half a second outside the track record set by Invincible Gangsta in 2018.
To put that in perspective, Who Goes There clocked more than half a second quicker coming home than dominant BM66 (1000m) winner Defiant Heart who then destroyed a BM66 field at Quirindi by nearly three lengths at her next start.
It all adds up to Who Goes There being one of the most exciting country-based sprinters anywhere in NSW, and he might just nudge the sizzling Tamworth 1000m course record set by Mossman’s Gold in 2017.
Trainer and breeder Mark Mason is likely to target a Highway sprint in Sydney if he puts this field to the sword, and may even consider a smash-and-grab raid on Queensland if the results keep pace with his untapped ability.
The Mason and Grant Buckley combination will be looking for a one-two punch to cap the meeting.
Before Who Goes There in the last race, the pair combines with consistent five-year-old Taketheshot fourth-up in a class 3 handicap over 1400m on another day when Tamworth yards look set to dominate.
