Will it be a happy homecoming for the Dodgers in World Series Game 3?
The dirty waters of Beantown left Los Angeles longing for some Hollywood home cooking, and it couldn’t come any sooner for the boys in blue. On Friday, the World Series shifts to the West Coast, with Dodger Stadium hosting the next three games of the 2018 Fall Classic.
Boston has bashed its way to a 2-0 series lead on the back of two-out hits and RBIs, indicative of the Red Sox’s potent, relentless offense. But as with many Hollywood blockbusters, this has a twist: J.D. Martinez will be forced to play on an injured ankle, which he hurt running the bases in Game 2. Martinez is hitting fourth and will be in left field tonight.

The Dodgers send youngster Walker Buehler to the mound in Game 3, and he’s been excellent for Los Angeles in the postseason. After a rough start vs. the Braves in the NLDS, Buehler allowed five runs and 15 strikeouts in 11 2/3 innings vs. the Brewers in the NLCS. Boston counters with righty Rick Porcello, set to make his first World Series appearance since 2012, and his first start.
Can the Dodgers defend home field, or will Boston extend its series lead?
