Conor McGregor issued an expletive-laden rant at Dustin Poirier and his wife Jolie as he lay with a broken leg after their trilogy fight.
McGregor and Poirier squared off for a third time in Las Vegas last night and were involved in a thrilling first round.
However, the bout was abruptly stopped after McGregor suffered a gruesome broken limb in the final few seconds of the round when stepping backwards towards the cage.
And despite making it to the bell, the referee quickly ruled it broken and ended the fight, handing Poirier his second straight win over his rival.
Both fighters were interviewed after the bout, with McGregor and Poirier clearly still heated towards one another, and the Irishman took a number of underhanded jabs at his opponent's wife Jolie.
"Your wife is in my DMs, hey baby," he jeered as Poirier was making his way back to the dressing rooms.
"Hit me back up I'll chat to you later on, I'll be at the after party at the Wynn night club. You look in bits you little h**!
"I was boxing the ears off him, kicking the legs off him, usual s**** he dived to close the distance.
"This is not over! If I have to take this outside with him it's on outside I don't give a b*******."
The ugly scenes followed an interview where Poirier told McGregor that he was finally receiving karma for his pre-fight words, including threatening to kill the American.
With boos raining down on Poirier, who is now the top contender for Charles Oliveira's lightweight title, he called the Irishman a 'dirt bag'.
"I can take the trash talk," Poirier told Rogan. "There's no holds barred with the trash talk, but murder is something you don't clown around with, you don't talk to people like that.
"He said he was going to send me home in a coffin, you don't talk like that, I hope this guy gets home safe to his beautiful family.
"He hit me with a good cross , just like the last fight, I didn't see it and it kind of clipped me, I was a little bit buzzed but my legs were still there."
Poirier also accused McGregor of some gamesmanship within the octagon, saying he was messing with his gloves to land kicks from the ground.
"Takedown was easy," he continued. "He was putting his fingers in my gloves, pulling me down so he could land those upkicks which I was telling Herb Dean.
"This guy is a dirtbag man, and everybody booing can kiss my whole a******.
"I mean, karma's not a b****, she's a mirror and this guy has said the wrong s*** and I've been bustin my a** and sometimes things happen, so it's not anti-climactic, I beat the guy."
Dana White has said that McGregor will get a fourth fight with Poirier, but it won't be for a while as the Irishman recovers from the injury which ended their trilogy early.
Poirier will first challenge Oliveira later this year.
