Aaron Hernandez told his mother "you f***** me up" during expletive-filled phone calls from prison.
The conversations have come to light as part of the new Netflix documentary Killer Inside: The Mind of Aaron Hernandez.
In the three-part documentary, it documents the life and death of the former NFL star.
Hernandez was arrested in 2013 on suspicion of murdering Odin Lloyd, a semi-professional footballer who was dating his fiance's sister, and was later found guilty of the offence.
He was later acquitted of the further murders of two more males.

But just days later, he was found dead in his jail cell. His death was ruled as suicide.
The documentary explores the former New England Patriots tight end's personality and the chain of events that led to the murder of Mr Lloyd and then his decision to take his own life.
Of those events, his upbringing became a key topic of conversation.
Hernandez lost his father unexpectedly in 2006 while undergoing hernia surgery and during the 'Killer Inside', it is claimed that was a turning point for his behaviour, as he lost the "ballast that kept him on course."

However, his father was not entirely a good role model, according to the documentary, and there were questions about his relationship with his mother.
And during phone calls from prison, which were included on the show, Hernandez referenced how events following his father's death took him to where he was at that moment.
In one call from jail, Hernandez said: “I don’t put you down, and you f***** my whole life up.”
When she protested, he responded: “You did! But I forgave you, and it’s over with.”
During the same exchange, Hernandez said: “I was the happiest f****** little kid in the world, and you f***** me up. And I just lost my father, and I had to go to college. And I had nobody.
“What the f*** did you think I was gonna do, become a perfect angel?”
The phone conversations continued and at one point, Hernandez said: “Oh my god, if I was with you right now, I would have probably punched the **** out of you. You bring me to this level.”

And in another call between the two, Hernandez claimed that he could not confide in her.
“You’re going to die without ever even knowing your son," he said. "That’s the craziest thing about it.”
Killer Inside: The Mind of Aaron Hernandez was released on Netflix in the UK earlier this week.
