Milwaukee Bucks star forward Giannis Antetokounmpo has cleared the NBA’s concussion protocol and will return against the Boston Celtics on Thursday, live on Sky Sports.
Antetokounmpo suffered a head injury on Saturday when he was elbowed by Orlando Magic forward Aaron Gordon and admitted he was “probably knocked out”.
He was placed in the concussion protocol and missed Monday’s game against the Toronto Raptors, a 124-109 victory.

The 23-year-old returned to practice on Wednesday after doing “everything possible” to return including testing, and that he’s now ready to play.

Antetokounmpo is averaging 25.0 points, 14.2 rebounds and 5.7 assists for the Bucks (7-0), who are the only unbeaten team in the NBA after handing Toronto its first loss.
The Bucks are the league’s lone undefeated team and are going for a franchise-best eighth straight win to open a season.
Antetokounmpo will return for the Bucks against the Celtics on Thursday night, live on Sky Sports Arena at midnight.
