The Rockets have reportedly offered the Timberwolves four future first round picks for Jimmy Butler. But, Minnesota is asking for more.
The Timberwolves want Houston to include guard Eric Gordon in the deal for the 29-year-old star, according to a report from ESPN, which cites unidentified league sources.
Minnesota coach Tom Thibodeau is hoping to receive players in the trade who can help the team reach the playoffs this season, the report says.
Gordon, 29, is in his third season with the Rockets. He has tallied 16.7 points per game and shot 37.5 percent from 3-point range over his 11-year career.
