A couple of Falcons receivers are dealing with injuries ahead of a critical Monday night matchup with the Giants; Evan Engram is trying to return to add depth to the TE position; and T.Y. Hilton is starting to make progress in his return from a hamstring injury. These “questionable” pass-catchers will have an impact on our Week 7 fantasy football rankings and start ’em, sit ’em decisions, so they will have to be watched closely until Monday night

Calvin Ridley, Mohamed Sanu injury news
Falcons head coach Dan Quinn expects both Ridley and Sanu to return to practice on Thursday in a limited capacity, according to ESPN’s Vaughn McClure. It’s believed that both are dealing with bone bruises, and, per McClure, are expected to “tough it out” Monday night against the Giants.
Still, Ridley and Sanu’s statuses will need to be closely watched this week, even though it’s looking like they will suit up. With the duo in action for a late game on Monday, it will be important to have a potential backup/handcuff in case either can’t go. Justin Hardy would likely be the next man up at receiver in the event that either misses time, so if you’re an owner of either receiver and have concerns about their availability, feel free to grab Hardy on the waiver wire.

Evan Engram injury update
Engram returned to practice on Tuesday, per Paul Schwartz of the New York Post, and it seems that he’s on his way to returning to the lineup. There was some optimism that he could have returned last week, but the short week for the Giants made it too difficult. However, after the mini-bye, he seems poised to return.
Engram immediately becomes one of the better TE options thanks to his favorable matchup with the Falcons. He’s highly rated in our TE rankings and unless anything changes, feel free to trust him in Week 7.

Is T.Y. Hilton playing in Week 7?
Hilton is practicing in full ahead of Week 7, according to the Colts injury report. Hilton has missed the last two games with a hamstring injury, but it appears that he may be on track to play after logging the full practice on Wednesday. Again, since soft-tissue injuries can linger, it will be crucial to see if Hilton can continue to practice, but getting back on the field for Thursday was a good sign.
Hilton’s return will push Chester Rogers back into the No. 2 receiver role, but he will still be worth rostering in all fantasy formats. Hilton himself should be a solid WR2, so if he’s healthy, he can be started in a decent matchup with the Bills.
