We’re back to four-team byes, but this week is a tough one for D/STs. All four idle teams are potential starters in any given week (Ravens, Broncos, Texans, Vikings), but the good news is all four offenses, with the possible exception of the Broncos, are mediocre to bad matchups for other D/STs. As such, our Week 10 fantasy defense rankings are still pretty strong, as all the poor offenses are back in action and many are facing decent defenses available on most waiver wires.
The streamers are indeed strong this week, with theRedskins (@ Buccaneers), Bills (@ Jets), Jets (vs. Bills), Colts (vs. Jaguars), Chargers (@ Raiders), Packers (vs. Dolphins), Giants (@ 49ers) and 49ers (vs. Giants) all in play. You can even try the Falcons (@ Browns) if you’re bold. As far as typically decent defenses feeling the crunch this week, the Eagles (vs. Cowboys), Panthers (@ Steelers), and Seahawks (@ Rams) all have rough matchups, though the Eagles are still on the start ’em, sit ’em bubble.

Ultimately, the list of worthwhile D/STs isn’t overly deep, but because there are so many readily available on the waiver wire, you shouldn’t have a problem finding a decent starter.
