The Steelers head to Heinz Field for this Week 2 matchup against the Raiders. Both teams are coming off of “upset” wins from Week 1.
It will be a battle between the Steelers defense and Raiders offense after their performances last week. The Steelers had three sacks against the Bills, and recovered a fumble. They held Buffalo to only 16 points and one touchdown.
But, the biggest issue for the Steelers defense to overcome on Sunday is the Raiders’ tight end Darren Waller, who had 105 receiving yards on Monday night against the Ravens.
Veteran Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger had an average Week 1 performance, completing 18 of his 32 throws, and tossing for one touchdown. The Raiders quarterback Derek Carr had a better game, with 34 of 56 completions and threw for two touchdowns.
Pittsburgh is the favorite heading into the matchup, especially since they have the home field advantage. However, in order to win, they need to probably score in the first half this game (they didn’t score until the third quarter on Sunday).
