NASCAR Cup championship race at Homestead 2018: Start time, lineup, TV schedule, more

It’s NASCAR race day at Homestead-Miami Speedway, and we’ve got some essential information you need to get ready for Sunday's Ford EcoBoost 400, the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series championship race:

START TIME: Josh Dallas, star of NBC's Manifest, will instruct drivers to start their engines at 2:54 p.m. ET, followed by the green flag at 3:03 p.m. ET.

RACE DISTANCE: The Ford EcoBoost 400 is 267 laps around the 1.5-mile Homestead-Miami Speedway for a total of 400 miles.

RACE STAGES: After a successful run last season, NASCAR will once again be dividing races into stages and handing out points. Here are the segments for today's race: Stage 1: 80 laps, Stage 2: 80 laps, Stage 3: 107 laps.

PLAYOFFS: Today's race is the last of 10 playoff races and will decide the 2018 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series champion. Here are the championship contenders: Kyle Busch, Kevin Harvick, Joey Logano and Martin Truex Jr.

NATIONAL ANTHEM: Senior Master Sergeant Ryan Carson of the U.S. Air Force Band, will perform the national anthem at 2:47 p.m. ET, followed by a flyover by four F-16's from the 93rd Fighter Squadron of Homestead Air Reserve Base.
