Abramovich’s stance over ‘Reece James and Eden Hazard exchange deal’ at Chelsea

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has let drop his transfer stance over a potential swap deal concerning Reece James and Eden Hazard with Real Madrid readying a move for the Blues ace.

James has been in sparkling form for the west London side this season racking up a tally of four goals and five assists in the Premier League from wing-back.

His stellar performances have alerted some of the top dogs in Europe with La Liga leaders Real Madrid linked with a potential move for the 22-year-old.

Chelsea themselves have been credited with an interest in former star man Eden Hazard who has endured a torrid time with injuries since making the move to the Spanish capital in 2019.

Spanish outlet El Nacional state Abramovich has already tried to secure the return of Hazard, but the Russian businessman will not allow this at the expense of losing one of his star players.

After seeing the Belgian leave two-and-a-half years ago, Abramovich is especially unwilling to lose another of his greatest talents to Real Madrid.

What would be acceptable for Chelsea if they were to let Reece James go? Let us know in the comments section.

Though the report claims Chelsea will not give Florentino Perez a single penny for Hazard making a return to Stamford Bridge increasingly unlikely for the silky winger.

The Belgian wizard has struggled for game time at the Santiago Bernabeu making no more than 30 appearances in two seasons for Los Blancos.

In this campaign the 30-year-old has stayed relatively injury-free, missing just four matches for the La Liga giants who have soared to the top of the table.
