Arsenal are interested in a move for Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham this summer but must first sell two players in order to fund the move, according to reports.
According to The Athletic, the club must sell both Eddie Nketiah and Alexandre Lacazette before they go ahead with their pursuit of England forward Abraham.
Chelsea are prepared to allow the 23-year-old to join Arsenal on an initial loan with an option to buy, provided it meets the £40million asking price they have slapped on Abraham this summer.
The former Bristol City loanee has also attracted interest from fellow Premier League clubs West Ham United, Newcastle United and Aston Villa.
However, Abraham is understood to prefer a move to Arsenal, the club he supported as a boy, having been quoted in 2017 saying: "To be honest I was an Arsenal fan. It didn't make any difference at Chelsea.
"When you're young and you choose who to support, it's a family thing… so it wasn't really a problem at Chelsea."
Abraham is surplus to requirements at Chelsea this summer having played just seven times for the club since Thomas Tuchel was appointed as manager in January.
Despite this, he finished as the club's top scorer last season after scoring 12 times in all competitions, level with German forward Timo Werner.

Abraham boasts an impressive goal-scoring record as a professional since coming through the Chelsea academy, having scored 91 goals in 215 appearances for the Blues, Bristol City, Swansea City, Aston Villa and England.
If Arsenal are to make a move for Abraham during this window, though, then both Nketiah and Lacazette need to be sold first in order to fund the deal.
Nketiah joined the Gunners from Chelsea at 16 and has scored 13 goals in 65 appearances since making his debut in 2017, as well as five goals on loan at Leeds United in 2019.
Currently valued at £15million, Nketiah has been linked with both Crystal Palace and newly promoted Watford so far this summer.
As for Lacazette, the Frenchman was the club's top scorer last season with 17 goals across all competitions, taking his Arsenal tally to 65 in 170 games since joining from Lyon in 2017 for £48million.
It is understood that Arsenal are seeking £25million for the striker this summer, who has been linked with both Roma and Sevilla earlier this year.
The combined fees for the pairs departures will equal Chelsea's asking price for the permanent signing of Abraham during this window.
