Renato Sanches has become a man reborn in his time at Lille after regressing at Bayern Munich. But with the French club showing a willingness to sell their star man for a large transfer fee, his agent has apparently stated he wants an immediate transfer with AC Milan, Liverpool and Arsenal interested.

The report states that Sanches had told the French side of his intentions to leave the club – although his final destination is not known just yet.

The Portugal star, who rose to prominence aged just 18 for his nation in their Euro 2016 triumph, moved to Bayern Munich for a fee of £30million rising to £68m upon performance-based objectives.

He faltered at Bayern, which included a failed loan move at Swansea along the way.

But after revitalising himself at Lille, Sanches has become a sought-after player once again.

And according to Calciomercato, AC Milan are in the driving seat alongside Arsenal and Liverpool’s interest given that his reported £30m price tag is extremely attainable for the trio.

Sanches has been warned by his agency over contact made with Milan in recent weeks, even though the French club have a great rapport with Stefano Pioli’s men.

Milan seem to be the most suitable side to sign him given that Franck Kessie is likely to leave on a free in the summer.

But Arsenal’s improved standing in the Premier League could see them make a move for the Portuguese however.

Sanches has gone on record stating his admiration for the seven-time European champions.

“I only know that I am ready, if the offer arrives I will evaluate it,” Sanches said.

“Milan is a great, historic, classy club. I like very much.”

The Rossoneri have reportedly been touting him for years ever since his move to Bayern Munich.

And talks supposedly took place last summer between Paulo Maldini and Sanches’ agent Jorge Mendes, before a move for Tiemoue Bakayoko materialised instead.

Arsenal bought Albert Sambi Lokonga and Martin Odegaard in the summer, where they have featured prominently alongside the excellence of Thomas Partey and the emergence of Emile Smith-Rowe.

And the signing of Sanches would see their midfield improved even more as they battle for a spot in the Champions League next season.
