Wijnaldum joined the Parisian side last summer on a free transfer after his contract at Liverpool expired but has already been linked with an early exit.

The midfielder’s former club Newcastle and Arsenal are both thought to be interested in a move for the Dutchman, according to The Mirror.
Petit has called for his former side to sign Wijnaludm as he believes the move could benefit both player and cub.
Mikel Arteta is keen to bring in reinforcements to his engine room after allowing Ainsley Maitland-Niles join Roma, while the move could bring an end to Wijnaldum’s Ligue 1 misery.

‘When he scored two goals [against RB Leipzig] in the Champions League last November, I was at the stadium that night and I thought it could be the perfect game for him to properly start his season with Paris Saint-Germain,’ Petit told Bookmakers.co.uk.
‘But, he is struggling and he is quite isolated in the PSG dressing room.’
‘He doesn’t have the relationship with his teammates that he had when he was with Liverpool,’ Petit added.

‘He seems to be missing that kind of affection, and the competition is very high at PSG.
‘We all know the quality that Wijnaldum possesses, he was a top player at Liverpool, so maybe a return to the Premier League could be something good for him.’
During his time at Liverpool, Wijnaldum made 237 appearances and helped them win the Premier League and the Champions League.
