Carabao Cup fourth round TV games confirmed including Liverpool vs Arsenal

The EFL have confirmed Liverpool versus Arsenal, Tottenham's derby with Chelsea and Manchester United's trip to Brighton are among the televised fourth-round Carabao Cup ties.

The matches are due to be played between Tuesday 29 September and Thursday 1 October with a place in the quarter-finals of the competition on the line.

Five matches have been chosen for live coverage on Sky Sports Football and the midweek action gets underway with a bang as Tottenham host London rivals Chelsea in Tuesday's 7:30pm kick-off.

Spurs received a bye to the last 16 after their third-round opponents Leyton Orient forfeited the tie following a number of positive coronavirus tests.

And Chelsea progressed to the fourth round with a 6-0 thrashing of Barnsley in which Germany star Kai Havertz found his form with a hat-trick.

On Wednesday, Newport County host Newcastle United in the 5:30pm game before Manchester United travel to the south coast for a 7:45pm clash with Brighton.

League Two side Newport upset the odds to beat 10-man Watford 3-1 on Tuesday, while Newcastle put seven goals past Morecambe to progress to the last 16.

Meanwhile, Brighton beat Preston North End 2-0 and Manchester United won 3-0 at Luton to set up their fourth-round tie.
