Frank Lampard will make another attempt to add Shay Given to his Chelsea coaching staff amid concerns about goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga.
Given is the goalkeeping coach at Derby, where he worked last season with Lampard.
When he was appointed Chelsea manager in the summer, Lampard wanted Given to make the move along with first-team coaches Jody Morris and Chris Jones.

The switch was resisted by the board at Stamford Bridge who were keen to promote Henrique Hilario into the role vacated by Maurizio Sarri’s goalkeeping coach Massimo Nenci and keep threads of continuity running through the club despite regular managerial changes.
Given agreed to stay at Derby and work with new manager Philipp Cocu, but Lampard remains keen to recruit the 43-year-old Irishman to work with Kepa.
Chelsea paid a world-record £71.6million to sign the keeper, 25, from Athletic Bilbao last year.
He has since ousted David de Gea as Spain’s No 1 but doubts remain about his club form, especially with set-pieces.
Lampard, who has increased his internal bargaining power after a strong start to the season, will make another attempt to bring in Given.
