Chelsea fans have been left in awe of their star midfielder Jorginho after his superb skill against Kevin De Bruyne during Italy’s Nations League clash against Belgium.
Italy secured third place in the competition courtesy of goals from Nicolo Barella and Domenico Berardi, winning 2-1 despite Belgium hitting the woodwork three times and scoring late on.
Jorginho was integral in the Italians’ performance and was able to get the better of his Manchester City counterpart during their midfield battles throughout the game.
And the 29-year-old capped off another brilliant performance with a stunning bit of trickery which is typical of his recent form.
The skill came in the 74th minute with the star intercepting the ball under pressure while deep in his own half.
With De Bruyne approaching to nick the ball, the former Napoli man reacted instantly to knock the ball past with excellent trickery, setting up an Italy attack in the process.
Meanwhile, fans on social media are delighted at the fact the Chelsea defensive midfielder is now excelling both at club level and on the international stage.
One fan wrote on Twitter: “World class reading of the game to make the interception, awareness of the situation around him, beats his man, avoids the press and plays a forward pass. Unbelievable player.”

Another bluntly added: “Just give him the Ballon d’Or already.”
The performance comes following Jorginho’s rise to becoming one of the most reliable central-midfielders in world football.
He became an integral part of Thomas Tuchel’s side following his appointment last season and delivered excellent performances on the way to winning the Champions League, where he kept De Bruyne under control in the final.
Jorginho went on to win the Euros with Italy later in the summer which has seen him enter the conversation for the coveted Ballon d’Or prize.
