Cristiano Ronaldo has been spotted on the Old Trafford pitch wearing Manchester United red for the first-time since he left the club for Real Madrid in 2009.
The five-time Ballon d'Or winner returns to the Premier League having won four league titles and four Champions League trophies during his nine seasons in Spain and three with Juventus.
Having cemented his legacy as the greatest goalscorer in history, Ronaldo is back to fire United to major silverware to the delight of his former team-mate Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
The 36-year-old looks all set to make his second debut for the club against Newcastle on Saturday after returning early from international duty – and has already tested out the playing surface.
In snaps that went viral on Twitter, Ronaldo has been photographed alongside former colleague Wes Brown in the middle of the Old Trafford pitch alongside a video crew.
Portugal's record goal-scorer could be seen wearing their new home shirt, as well as United tracksuit bottoms and Adidas trainers.
The update comes two days after Ronaldo attended United's training ground to be reunited with Solskjaer, after which he took the training pitch with a small group of his new team-mates.

Solskjaer said after the win over Wolves before the international break: "I hope he will [face Newcastle on September 11].
"He's a special boy, or man now, he was a boy when I played with him.
"Of course the players are excited, some have played with him in their national team. You see the fans – they're excited. That's what he does, he's a special player."
In another boost for supporters, Edinson Cavani allowed Ronaldo to reclaim the No.7 shirt that he wore between the 2003/04 and 2008/09 seasons for the Red Devils.
He said: "I wasn't sure if it would be possible to have the number seven shirt again.
"I would like to say a huge thank you to Edi for this incredible gesture."
