Bruno Fernandes' 25-yard thunderbolt was the icing on top of the cake for Manchester United, and the strike even impressed new signing Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Red Devils clashed with Newcastle on Saturday afternoon, with the crowd desperate to see the returning Ronaldo.
United fans weren't disappointed as the Portuguese megastar bagged a double, but it was Fernandes' wondergoal that stole the show.
After receiving the ball from Paul Pogba, Fernandes took aim and lashed the ball across the goal into the top corner.
And Ronaldo was quick to show his respect for the strike as he raised his hands in the air in celebration.
The 36-year-old had a dream return to his old stomping grounds.
Ronaldo made the back of the net ripple on either side of half-time as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side ran riot against Newcastle United.
Javier Manquillo had threatened to spoil the party before Ronaldo had the final say, and Jesse Lingard added a third before Fernandes' wonder strike.
'Viva Ronaldo' had belted out around Old Trafford before the rapturous crowd could participate in Ronaldo's iconic 'siu' celebration.
