Dele Alli will begin deciding his next move following a disastrous loan at Turkish club Besiktas from Everton, which has led to the former Tottenham and England star being banished from the first team. The 37-cap international was one of the brightest talents in world football, but failed to continue on his trajectory and fell down the pecking order at Spurs under Jose Mourinho before moving to Everton and then Besiktas.
Frank Lampard was unable to get the best out of Alli either and he was told to find a new club in the summer, which prompted a loan move to Besiktas. The Turkish club have decided not to take up the £8million permanent option in the 26-year-old’s loan deal, while he has fallen out with boss Senol Gunes.
According to Turkish outlet Takvim, Gunes does not plan on including Alli in matchday squads for the remainder of the season, forcing him to watch from the stands. As his future is not at Turkey, Alli will be looking for his next opportunity but ex-Tottenham striker Darren Bent believes that the Premier League will not be an option for him.
“I don’t know what’s happened,” Bent told talkSPORT. “Burst onto the scene with Spurs and was brilliant, burst onto the scene with England scoring goals, I think he scored on his debut for England. But it just hasn’t worked out for him, last few years with [Mauricio] Pochettino, went to Everton and didn’t play.

“He’s gone over there and it’s quite sad. I know people are thinking ‘Sad for what?! He’s getting paid all that money’, but when you see someone who was that good and where they are now, you just think: ‘What has happened?’
“That’s the problem, I don’t think anybody in the Premier League takes him. He’s had Pochettino, he’s had [Jose] Mourinho, he’s at Besiktas, he’s had Frank Lampard and if anyone – that was the one. I get it, people might speak about Frank Lampard and his management, but when you talk about goalscoring midfielders there is no one better in this country than Frank Lampard to get it out of him.

“No [I wouldn’t have him at Liverpool], I am not saying he is uncoachable – I don’t think anyone in the Premier League takes him.”
Alli will have one year left on his Everton contract upon his return to Goodison in the summer, boss Sean Dyche has confirmed that he will talk to Alli during the upcoming international break.
Any interested clubs, in both England and abroad, would have to consider his wage packet which may put off those particularly in the Championship – as former Cardiff boss Dean Whitehead has previously told Express Sport.
