Gareth Southgate believes his scintillating attacking trio of Harry Kane, Raheem Sterling and Marcus Rashford is among the best on the planet.
All three made key contributions during Saturday’s demolition of Bulgaria – Kane scored a hat-trick and set-up Sterling, who also assisted one of the England captain’s three strikes.
Rashford got in on the act by winning one of Kane’s two penalties at Wembley.

And England boss Southgate has lauded his forward triumvirate, labelling them one of the best combinations in world football ahead of Tuesday night’s Euro 2020 qualifier against Kosovo.
When asked whether Kane, Sterling and Rashford were comparable to France’s combination of Antoine Griezmann and Kylian Mbappe, the national team coach answered: ‘I think that they’re as exciting as anything.
‘I remember going to Spain and thinking that’s a really tough game, but actually, our front three compared to their front three on the night, I thought that we were strong.
‘So I’ve got the same. It would be absolutely great if we could push, really push, so I think that it is exciting. You need to have players on the field to connect the front three, you need to have players that can come in and have impact.’
