Donny van de Beek’s girlfriend Estelle Bergkamp has posted an emotional message on social media after the Dutchman’s move to Manchester United was confirmed.

It was announced on Wednesday that the midfielder had completed a £38million transfer from Ajax and he will soon be making the move to Manchester.

And he will be joined by his other half Estelle, daughter of former Arsenal forward Dennis Bergkamp.

The 24-year-old and Van de Beek have been dating for around a year, in which their romance has blossomed.

Estelle was born in London, one year into her father’s 11 years stint with the Gunners, and was seen on occasion on the Highbury pitch after trophy successes.

After her boyfriend’s move to Old Trafford was confirmed she posted a loving message on her personal Instagram account.

It read: “My love, I am so proud of you. For everything you have achieved until now and for all that is to come. I will always be by your side and will always support you for you to succeed at your best. Can’t wait to go back to England with you and live our dream! All my love”.

Accompanied with the message was a picture of the couple together, kissing on a beach.

After keeping their romance initially under wraps, the pair are often seen on social media posting photos of themselves together.

Last Christmas, they shared a romantic snap cuddling in front of a Christmas tree.

Estelle captioned the cute pic: "Merry christmas from us."

Van de Beek will likely walk straight into the United team as they look to improve on last season’s third place finish in the Premier League.

The Dutchman can play at the base of the midfield or further forward, but will probably be utilised just behind Bruno Fernandes and Paul Pogba.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is hoping that he is not yet finished in the transfer market this summer, with other targets still being looked at.

Borussia Dortmund ace Jadon Sancho is still a priority signing, while Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish is also still of interest.
