Harry Kane has told Tottenham he wants to leave the club this summer – and Manchester United fans have been sent into meltdown.

The Englishman, who has scored 220 goals in more than 300 appearances for Spurs, has told the Premier League side that he wants to leave 'this summer', according to Sky SportsNews.

With Daniel Levy already looking into replacements, it has seen clubs such as the Red Devils, Manchester City and Chelsea already enquire with the Englishman's representatives.

And the United faithful quickly made their feelings about the Spurs forward clear.

"Cannot think of a better fit than Harry Kane and Man Utd. He would thrive," one supporter said.

Another commented: "Would be awesome if he moved to United."

While a third suggested it was already a done deal, with: "Deffo going Man Utd, Harry Kane isn’t he?!"

And a fourth took a dig at Tottenham's trophy struggles, with: "About time. Deserves a lot of trophies for his quality."

A fifth sent a direct message to Old Gunnar Solskjaer, with: "Go f***ing sign Harry Kane."

With another supporter saying: "Man Utd, please sign Harry Kane now."

And a final fan suggested how Kane would fit into the line-up, with: "Could you imagine though. [Bruno] Fernandes and [Paul] Pogba playing it into Harry Kane with [Marcus] Rashford and [Mason] Greenwood on either side and we bring on [Edinson] Cavani."

"That's a dream."
