Jurgen Klopp ‘disasterclass’ as Liverpool boss told ‘experiments have to stop’

Jurgen Klopp has been told that the 'experiments have to stop' after his Liverpool side slipped to a 6-2 aggregate defeat against Real Madrid.

The German boss, who led his side to glory in the competition back in 2018/19 competition, watched his side flop in their quest to reach the quarter-finals.

With their defensive frailty laid bare in the first-leg, they failed to have an attacking impact in the second with fans taking their criticism to social media.

A third said: "Jurgen Klopp has totally killed this game tonight! Need 3 goals and once again he takes off Nunez who’s out biggest threat in behind."

A fourth agreed: "I’ll say it again, Jurgen Klopp has cost us more than any player this season."

Having been knocked out of the Carabao Cup and FA Cup early on, Liverpool now need to focus on earning a top-four finish in the Premier League.

Klopp's men sit six points behind Tottenham with a game in hand, but two points behind Newcastle having played a game more.

One moment of joy for Liverpool fans came when Alisson did his best impression of Jerzy Dudek with a stunning save from Vinicius Jr.

The Brazil international raced across his goal in the 14th minute of the Bernabeu showdown and threw out his arms with Vini Jr looking a certainty to score.

Liverpool fans were quick to make the comparison with Dudek's stop against Andriy Shevchenko in Istanbul, in which the Polish stopper thwarted a header from the Ukrainian and stopped his point-blank follow-up.
