Arsenal have enquired about the possibility of signing Lautaro Martinez from Inter Milan and it’s understood the player would be interested in moving to the Emirates Stadium, according to reports. Rumours emerged earlier this week speculating that Arsenal were exploring a move for the Argentine international, who helped fire Inter Milan to the Serie A title last season.
Martinez has been the subject of strong interest in the past from Barcelona but the Catalan giants did not have the cash to satisfy Inter’s valuation of the player.
Romelu Lukaku has already reaffirmed his commitment to Inter amid their current financial struggles.
Yet it’s understood Martinez could potentially be available this summer.
Now Arsenal are exploring their options as they devise a long-term plan for their strike force.

Alexandre Lacazette’s contract is up in two years and Arsenal would be keen to move him on.
According to The Athletic, Arsenal asked questions about the availability of Martinez during discussions over Hector Bellerin.
Although some fans have questioned whether Martinez would want to join Arsenal, the same report states that the striker would be open to the move if Inter would be willing to move him on.
It has previously been claimed that Martinez would only leave Inter for either Barcelona or Real Madrid.
