Man Utd: Diallo posts Atalanta tribute after sealing move
Manchester United are in Premier League action against Burnley on Tuesday night. Victory over the Clarets would see them leapfrog Liverpool at the top of the table, in what would be the clearest indication yet they’re gearing up for a title challenge. But, in the meantime, Express Sport will take you through the latest news and gossip – with Amad Diallo, Paul Pogba and Brandon Williams all featuring.
Diallo joined United earlier on in the transfer window, signing from Atalanta in a £37million deal.
Yet former coach Denis Cerlini has expressed a belief the 18-year-old must work on his heading and physique in order to become an Old Trafford hit.
“Physically, Amad wasn’t the strongest at Boca Barco, and his heading abilities aren’t good,” Cerlini told BBC Sport.
“He must add a few kilograms of weight in order to survive in the Premier League.”
Solskjaer has expressed his excitement over Diallo’s arrival – but when the teenager will make his debut remains to be seen.

Pogba price set for PSG
PSG want to sign Pogba from United when the transfer window reopens at the end of the season.
The France international wants to leave Old Trafford, having failed to secure exits to Barcelona and Real Madrid in 2018 and 2019 respectively.
And The Daily Star say United have slashed the 27-year-old’s asking price, with his current deal scheduled to expire in 2022.
Initially, the Red Devils had been holding out for £100m.
But they’re now willing to take £75m for the 2018 World Cup winner, who has been at Old Trafford ever since returning from Juventus in 2016.

Man Utd set to offload player no longer wanted by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer with loan eyed
The Manchester Evening News say that Brandon Williams wants to play more.
The England international impressed in the Red Devils’ 1-0 FA Cup win over Watford on Saturday after being selected at right-back.
But with Southampton and Newcastle showing interest, a loan move away could happen.
However, that would leave United short at the back.
And that’s something Solskjaer certainly doesn’t want to happen with his side on course to win the title for the first time since 2013.
Haaland move backed
United would beat Liverpool to the Premier League title if they spent big to sign Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund, according to Gabriel Agbonlahor.
“He’s the most complete striker out there for me,” Agbonlahor told talkSPORT.
“We’re talking about Premier League clubs wanting him; I think Bayern Munich or Real Madrid are the favourites to get him.
“I feel like Borussia Dortmund can ask for whatever they want. If you’re talking about £100million for Sancho, you’re talking £180m for Haaland.
“You’re talking ridiculous money. He’ll be the most expensive player ever when he leaves Dortmund because he’s getting better.
“He’s learning, he looks hungry. He’s not happy just to be at Dortmund and score goals, he’s trying to improve his game and he’s going to get better and better.”
