Manchester United are reportedly set to make another signing for their academy setup, with 17-year-old Charlie McNeill expected to join from rivals Manchester City for a fee of up to £1.35m.
The striker joined City's academy from United for £12,000 six years ago but is now expected to return to the Red Devils after experiencing limited opportunities for City's under-18's.
McNeill officially left City back in June after rejecting a new contract but, because of his age, United have negotiated a £750,000 fee which could rise to £1.35m in order to avoid a tribunal, according to the Manchester Evening news.
The 17-year-old announced his decision to leave on Instagram, writing: "It's been such a pleasure to play with some amazing players and I've made some amazing friends too.
"Thanks to all the staff and players for helping me develop as a player and also as a person."
Rangers and RB Leipzig have all previously been linked with the teenage goalscorer, who has represented England's under-16s.

McNeill will join the likes of Alejandro Garnacho, Marc Jurado, Alvaro Fernandez, Isak Hansen-Aaroen, Joe Hugill, Logan Pye and Radek Vitek, who have all been recruited from other clubs this summer.
Garnacho, Jurado and Fernandez joined from Spanish giants Barcelona, Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid respectively, with Jurado and Fernandez currently in the middle of a mandatory 14-day quarantine period.
Highly-rated former Sunderland pair Hugill and Pye signed earlier this summer.
Goalkeeper Vitek started training with the club back in July after completing a move from Sigma Olomouc.
Hansen-Aaroen made the move from Norwegian club Tromso, after becoming the youngest player to ever feature for the senior team aged just 15.
The teenager has been likened to compatriot Erling Braut Haaland, who was linked with a move to Old Trafford back in January but ended up joining Borussia Dortmund instead.
