Mia Khalifa has been criticised by fans for submitting a request to West Ham on social media.
The former adult entertainer watched Watford and Arsenal on Sunday, being given a tour of Vicarage Road and downing beers as the game unfolded.
Khalifa is a West Ham fan and has been spotted at the London Stadium in the past. When a fan tweeted her expressing a hope to meet her at the Hammers’ showdown with Sheffield United next month, she said: “Oi, @WestHam, invite me and make this kids dream come true.”
But fans have taken to Twitter to criticise her.
“Pay for your own ticket??” one supporter said.
“But you’re a Watford fan now,” said another in reference to her donning a Watford shirt on Sunday.
“Think you might of blew it wearing that Watford shirt, we are a very loyal fan base Mia,” a third fan said.
“Free loader,” were the brutal words of a fourth fan.
And a fifth chipped in with: “Buy yourself one.”
Khalifa did defend herself, saying in response to one supporter: “I’m never going to say no to a stadium tour when offered.
“You go be bitter in your mom’s basement, and I’ll keep being a West Ham fan that has once in a lifetime opportunities to see starting lineups 3 hours before they’re announce.”
Speaking in 2018, Khalifa admitted she was a fan of West Ham because of the film Green Street.
“I watched Green Street hooligans when I was young and ever since then I’ve loved West Ham,” she said.
“I haven’t been to any games, that was actually my first time ever in England when I was there.
“I could see the stadium from where I was at the top of the tower, it looked a little far away.
“I would love to (attend a game), I actually plan on going back to do a food tour there.
“And I’m going to make it line up with a match that I can go and see.”
