Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta says he did not see a pre-game bust-up between Dani Ceballos and Eddie Nketiah.
The two stars, both left out of the starting line-up, had to be separated by team-mates as they clashed in the warm-up.
Ceballos put in a hard challenge on the young striker, who appeared to take exception before being shoved by Ceballos.
Nketiah then blasted the ball at the midfielder, who shoved him again as team-mates stepped in to prevent it escalating further.
The incident did not seem to impact the Gunners as they ran out 3-0 winners with both introduced as late substitutes.
After the game, Arteta told his press conference he was inside at the time of the incident and did not see what happened.
"I haven't seen anything. I was inside," he said when asked about what happened between the pair.
Speaking before the game, Rio Ferdinand also downplayed the incident and claimed Arteta would have no issue with what happened.
He said: “This is part of it. I think at the end of the day, sometimes it gets heated.
“You’d see that probably once or twice a week at the training ground, it’s just that we happen to be here to see it.
"I’m sure Mikel Arteta wouldn’t be too disappointed with that.”
