Mohamed Salah has paid tribute to Sadio Mane with a classy gesture on Instagram after his former team-mate completed a £35million switch to Bayern Munich.
The Senegalese sensation, 30, was unveiled in Bavaria on Wednesday (June 22) after snubbing a new contract at Liverpool. Mane has penned a three-year deal with the Bundesliga champions which will see him earn a mind-boggling £360k-a-week.
Enjoying six stellar seasons at Anfield, Mane is now synonymous with one of the most feared forward lines in Premier League history, alongside Salah. The duo have run defenders ragged ever since Salah's arrival in 2017, registering a combined total of 195 goals, and the Egyptian King had a classy message for his goalscoring partner on Instagram following Mane's move to Bayern Munich.

The Senegal international departs as a Premier League, Champions League and Club World Cup winner after registering 120 goals for the club. Reds boss Jurgen Klopp also paid tribute to Mane, after he sealed his switch to Bayern, hailing him as "a modern-day Liverpool icon".
"He leaves with our gratitude and our love," said the Liverpool manager. "He leaves with his status among the greats guaranteed. And yes, he leaves in a moment where he is one of the best players in world football.
"But we must not dwell on what we now lose, instead celebrate what we were privileged to have. The goals he scored, the trophies he won; a legend, for sure, but also a modern-day Liverpool icon."
