Monaco 3-2 Paris Saint-Germain: Cesc Fabregas caps stunning comeback to end PSG’s eight-game Ligue 1 winning streak

Paris Saint-Germain’s eight-game winning run in Ligue 1 came to an end when a late winner from Cesc Fabregas saw Monaco come from 2-0 down to earn a stunning win. 

Kylian Mbappe’s stunning solo effort put the league leaders in front after 25 minutes before doubling the visitors’ advantage 12 minutes later from the spot.

Kevin Volland helped Monaco back into the contest with a second-half double to stun PSG

Mbappe was denied a hat-trick when he netted just before half-time only to be denied by VAR, before Volland gave Monaco a lifeline after 52 minutes and then brought the hosts level midway through the second period. 

The comeback was complete when Volland was brought down by Abdou Diallo, who was red-card. Up stepped Fabregas, who made no mistake from 12 yards and took the principality side up to second, four points behind PSG.
