Oldham Athletic have sacked assistant manager Andy Rhodes after just four months back at the club.
Rhodes joined the coaching staff when Frankie Bunn was appointed first-team manager in June.
The duo had played together at Oldham between 1988-990 and Rhodes also worked at the club as a goalkeeping coach for two years in 2002.
Oldham are preparing to go to Northampton on Saturday in League Two on the back of a 2-0 victory against Cheltenham on Tuesday night.
Oldham are 12th in the table but are four points off the League Two play-off places after 15 matches.
