Portsmouth defender Sean Raggett has beaten off competition from Bobby Moore, John Terry and Tony Adams to be named in the greatest FA Cup five-a-side team of all time.

The team was picked from a series of polls that were run on the official Twitter account of the FA Cup as part of a #5ASideFriday feature.

Competition legends Terry, Moore and Adams all made the final four for the sole defender spot in what would be crowned the FA Cup’s greatest five a side team.

And in a shock move, Raggett was also given a place in the final, despite having never progressed past the quarter-final stages with any of his eight clubs.

By comparison, Moore won the FA Cup with West Ham in 1964, Terry won five at Chelsea, being captain for four of those, while Adams won it three times with Arsenal.

But despite their incredible pedigree, the vote was hacked by Portsmouth fans to ensure that it was Raggett who finished top of the poll.

The Englishman won by some distance, gaining 68.1 per cent of the 3,547 votes from the ballot.

Terry was his closest challenger on 16.5 per cent, with Moore coming third on 8.7 per cent and Adams last on just 6.7 per cent.

That sent Raggett through to the final team, where he joined Chelsea legend Petr Cech and Liverpool icon Steven Gerrard, as well as former Arsenal heroes Patrick Viera and Thierry Henry.

Cech won four FA Cups with the Blues, with Gerrard and Henry winning it twice with the Reds and the Gunners.

Their most successful team-mate was Viera though, who won the tournament four times with Arsenal and once with Manchester City.

Five-time winner Sir Alex Ferguson was picked to manage the team, with Raggett the only member to not have won the title.
