PSG are reportedly planning a stunning last-minute move to sign Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund in what would be a sensational end to the summer transfer window. The Parisians, who have already completed the signings of Archaf Hakimi, Gianluigi Donnarumma, Gini Wijnaldum, Sergio Ramos and Lionel Messi this summer, are now preparing to immediately splash the £138million they will receive from Real Madrid for Kylian Mbappe.

Haaland looked certain to move earlier this summer but talks over his potential exit from Signal Iduna Park failed to get off the ground.

Dortmund were always clear that they were prepared to keep their Norwegian sensation for another season, even if it means losing him on the cheap next summer when his £64m release clause kicks in.

Chelsea were the only club that looked prepared to sign the striker and the Blues were ready to smash their transfer record to get a deal over the line.

However, Dortmund made it clear to them during informal talks that Haaland was not for sale, while it was reported in the German press that it would take £150m to change their stance.

Chelsea then moved onto Romelu Lukaku, who signed for £97.5m from Inter Milan, with Haaland now staying put ahead of next summer’s scramble for his signature.

But now PSG are ready to try and pull off the unthinkable to crown a phenomenal summer of business following the imminent departure of Mbappe.

According to The Telegraph, PSG have contacted Mino Raiola to find out whether a deal is possible in the final days of the transfer window.

Understandably, with just a matter of days to spare, any deal seems unlikely at this stage.

But with PSG set to receive around £138m plus potential add-ons for Mbappe, the club believe they have the financial power to facilitate a potential deal.
