Roberto Firmino trolled by fans after his white teeth makes AirPods looks yellow

Liverpool fans have taken to social media to joke with forward Roberto Firmino about how remarkably white his teeth are after footage a clip of him chatting went out on social media.

The Brazilian arrived at Anfield in 2015 from Bundesliga side Hoffenheim for £29million and has since become an integral part of the Reds’ team.

Although sometimes not amongst the goals, Firmino is famed for his chance creations and vital role in build-up play, opening up pockets of space for Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah on either flank.

Since coming to the Premier League, the 29-year-old has scored 67 goals in 214 league appearances, winning the title and the Champions League.

Firmino has become a fan’s favourite amongst the Kop and Liverpool supporters have taken to social media to joke about his flawless teeth compared to other white items.

On Reddit, someone posted an image of the forward with the caption: “Firmino’s teeth are so white it makes his AirPods look yellow.”

The post, obviously made in jest, was very popular amongst Liverpool fans and many commented on just how their strikers' bright teeth discolour supposedly ‘white’ objects.

Should Jurgen Klopp bring in a replacement for Roberto Firmino? Comment below

One person joked: “His dentist works hard but not as hard as Bobby. Si Senor!”

Another added: “P****** myself at this, go on Bobby lad!”

Firmino’s position in Jurgen Klopp’s side has come under pressure recently from some fans who, although realising his importance, believe an out and out goalscorer could make the team very hard to beat.

The good form of versatile Diogo Jota means that there is competition for the striker spot, but some even think another option could be beneficial.

According to transfermarkt, the Reds are interested in signing RB Salzburg striker Karim Adeyemi.

The 19-year-old German has scored seven and assisted once in eight appearances in the Austrian Bundesliga already this season and is thought to be available for approximately £18m.

The website goes on to say that Barcelona are also interested in securing the versatile forwards signature.

However, Klopp may be keen to get the deal over the line sooner rather than later as Harvey Elliott is sidelined with an ankle injury and both Salah and Mane will be away for the entirety of January as they will be representing their countries at the African Cup of Nations.
