Juventus have reportedly proposed a sensational swap deal to Manchester United in involving Cristiano Ronaldo and Paul Pogba.
Ronaldo looks increasingly likely to depart Italy this summer after three years in Turin, with his contract entering its final year.
The Portuguese superstar could of course sign a new deal, but with Juve having failed to hit the heights that Ronaldo had been expecting, an exit could be on the cards.
If the Old Lady do indeed sell him this summer, they will look to recoup at least some of the £100million fee they paid Real Madrid to secure his services in 2018.
One of the few clubs who would be able to afford a move for the 36-year-old is United, the club where Ronaldo first became a superstar.
The Red Devils also possess a precarious contract situation with one of their stars – midfielder Paul Pogba.
Pogba joined United from Juve for £89m in 2016, but it has been a mixed spell at Old Trafford for the Frenchman.
He has been consistently linked with a move away from the Premier League and is now entering the final year of his contract.

With Pogba due a bumper pay rise if he does sign a new contract, the Red Devils could instead sell him this summer.
One of the clubs who have been linked with Pogba is Juve, a club where he enjoyed four incredibly successful season earlier in his career.
According to 90min, Juventus are set to make an offer that could suit all parties, with intermediaries having proposed a swap deal that would see Ronaldo and Pogba switch clubs.
The reported states that neither club has officially discussed that deal, but sources close to the players involved have not ruled it out.

The move would appear to suit all parties, as United would be able to bring in a fee for Pogba before his contract runs out, as well as gaining a key short-term asset in Ronaldo.
In return Juventus would get a player who is still thought of highly in Turin and on his day is one of the best midfielders in the Premier League.
