Jadon Sancho has been priced ahead of a potential move to Manchester United this summer.

Borussia Dortmund are now open to selling the England international if the right bid comes in – a year after a failed transfer to Old Trafford.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is a huge fan of Sancho and saw him as the answer to his problems out wide, with United currently possessing no top-class right-winger.

A raid on Dortmund was plotted last year but the asking price was too high for the Red Devils while the Bundesliga outfit made any efforts to negotiate almost impossible.

But a year on, their stance has changed amid the financial climate with Covid taking its effect on revenues across the world.

According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, Dortmund are now open to sell and have dropped his asking price from £109m to as low as €85m(£73m).

Though a number of other suitors are interested, United remain the favourites have agreed personal terms with the 21-year-old last summer.

Chelsea and Liverpool are also monitoring the former Manchester City youth ace but have other priorities in the transfer window.

Talk of a summer move for Sancho has steadily grown over the past few months with Dortmund chief Michael Zorc admitting a departure is on the cards.

However, the same cannot be said of Erling Haaland – who the club supremo insisted was not for sale no matter what.

"We already had a gentlemen's agreement with Jadon last year that he can switch under certain conditions," he said.

"He's been with us for a couple of years. However, this agreement does not exist with Erling."

When pressed on what happened between Dortmund and United last summer over Sancho, Zorc added: "In the end, the requirements were not met."
