Sky Sports have added Chris Kamara and Liverpool hero Glen Johnson to their regular Soccer Saturday line-up after sacking three pundits.

Host Jeff Stelling will be joined by the pair for the 2020/21 season as well as Paul Merson, Sue Smith, Clinton Morrison and Alan McInally.

Adebayo “The Beast” Akinfenwa, the Wycombe Wanderers forward famous for his FIFA strength rating, will be a guest on the Saturday afternoon show.

Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler, Manchester City title-winner Joleon Lescott and former Tottenham boss Tim Sherwood will also make appearances on the show this year.

Sky Sports have also shaken up their live game team, with Manchester United hero Patrice Evra and Micah Richards joining Roy Keane.

They also join Gary Neville, Jamie Carragher, Graeme Sourness and Jamie Redknapp with hosts David Jones and Kelly Cates.

Gary Hughes, Director of Football at the broadcaster, said: “With fans currently unable to attend matches in person, it is imperative we provide the best possible TV and digital coverage to our audiences.

“Confirming Patrice, Micah and Roy to add to our existing line-up of award-winning pundits is brilliant news and we will strive to take the game closer to fans than ever before with increased live action, highlights and analysis.”

The Premier League broadcaster have shaken up their pundits ahead of the 2020/21 campaign, days after showing Matt Le Tissier, Charlie Nicholas and Phil Thompson the door.

Sky Sports have been making widespread staff cuts, including former West Ham and Chelsea defender Scott Minto who has presented the broadcaster’s La Liga and EFL coverage for 13 years.
