Injuries to Celtic striker Leigh Griffiths and Hearts attacker Steven Naismith have left national boss Alex McLeish short on options in attack, leaving Cardiff’s Paterson and West Brom’s Phillips the opportunity to impress.
Michael Devlin and Gary Mackay-Steven were late call-ups by McLeish for the last squad, but are in from the start this time.
