Arsenal cruised to a comfortable victory over newly-promoted Fulham on Saturday afternoon.

Willian was the star as he set up three goals for his team-mates as the Gunners took an early lead at the top of the Premier League table, with Alexandre Lacazette, Gabriel and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang all on the scoresheet.

The Gunners were backed to start the season well after their recent FA Cup and Community Shield victories over Chelsea and Liverpool respectively, and it took them under 10 minutes to get off the mark.

Daily Star Sport have now taken a look at five things you might of missed that happened during the match, including a scuffle between two Arsenal team-mates before kick-off.

Dani Ceballos and Eddie Nketiah bust up

During a warm-up, the Spaniard jumped in with a rough tackle on Nketiah before shoving him in the chest.

After splitting, the pair came back together in a war of words, and both ended up pushing each other before they were separated by Sead Kolasinac.

Apart from the strong challenge it is unknown what caused the argument between the midfielder and the forward, but it calmed down quickly as the Gunners prepared for kick-off.

Fast start from Alexandre Lacazette

Alexandre Lacazette became the first player to score the opening goal of a Premier League season more than once.

The Frenchman repeated his feat from the 2017/18 season, in which he netted against Leicester.

The 29-year-old was linked with a move away from the club this summer, but it appears as though he will play a key part in the plans of Arteta for the rest of the campaign.

Arsenal debutant success

Gabriel became the 10th Arsenal player to score on their Premier League debut from the club.

The Brazilian defender is the first to do that since Thomas Vermaelen back in August of 2009.

The 22-year-old moved to the Emirates from Lille earlier this summer, in a deal that could be worth up to £27m.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang back with a bang

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang became the first player to score on the opening day of consecutive Premier League seasons for Arsenal since club hero Robert Pires between 2003/04 and 2004/05.

The 31-year-old has scored 22 goals in each of the last two league seasons, and he will be looking to beat that tally after getting off to a good start in 2020/21.

The Gabon striker has been linked with a move away from the club with his contract expiring next summer, but he looks likely to put pen to paper over the coming weeks.

Willian > Mesut Ozil

Willian grabbed three assists for Arsenal on his debut for the club, and in doing so he beat Mesut Ozil’s tally from the 2019/20 season.

The German is out of favour under Arteta and wasn’t named in the squad on Saturday, and he is now even lower in the pecking order after the arrival of the Brazilian.

Ozil is unlikely to leave the club due to his mammoth wages, but he has a lot to do before he will be considered for a first-team start.
